Job Summary
Overnight Safety & Guest Services Officer ensuring guest safety, security, and comfort during overnight hours. Greet and assist guests, perform check-ins and check-outs, and respond promptly to requests, concerns, and emergencies. Conduct routine patrols of building premises, monitor security cameras and access control systems, and respond to safety incidents or disturbances. Complete incident reports, assist with fire, medical, and evacuation emergencies, and secure entrances and restricted areas. Maintain accurate activity logs, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, and ensure lobby areas remain clean and presentable. Requires flexibility for overnights, weekends, and holidays; physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to multitask, stay focused, and remain professional in an overnight setting
- Basic understanding of accounting principles including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and spreadsheet data entry
- Comfortable working independently and resolving guest issues with confidence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible schedule with availability for overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs as needed
- Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel
- Occasionally requires sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
