Job Summary
Oversee overnight hotel operations by verifying guest accounts, reconciling revenues, and closing the day's front desk work. Run trial balances, post rooms, and generate daily reports for Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, and Executive Office. Handle emergency situations, manage VIP check-in/check-out processes, and address guest complaints while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards. Assist with up-selling techniques to maximize occupancy and ensure team members stay current on hotel policies and local events. Perform assigned front desk agent duties and follow all standard operating procedures and safety protocols. Work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalence
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
- Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs
- Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision
- Must be able to speak, understand, and communicate utilizing the primary language(s) used in the workplace
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
- Ability to bend and twist, push, and pull, stoop, and kneel
- Ascend and descend a ladder
- Must be able to adhere to attendance and reliability standards
