Job Summary
Oversee overnight operations at Silver Lake Pool & Inn by managing late check-ins, check-outs, and billing while liaising with guests, colleagues, and vendors. Conduct walkthroughs for safety, security, and cleanliness; enforce policies and resolve complaints or glitches by communicating with department managers. Input guest data into Opera, reconcile daily front desk tasks, balance room posts, and run accounts receivable reports. Investigate safety issues, complete incident reports, and provide next-day reports to leadership. Ensure all guest requests are addressed professionally and that folios are settled accurately.

- Ability to input and access information in the property management system/computers/point of sales system
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and organize
- Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment
- Follow directions thoroughly
- Understand guest's service needs
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Work with minimal supervision
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 25 lbs
- Minimum two years of experience within guest reception or a similar position preferred, preferably a luxury hotel setting
