Job Summary
Night Auditor balances hotel charges and expenses during the night, audits revenue and cashier reports, transmits daily management reports, and serves as the night operations liaison. Duties include greeting guests, checking in, handling payments and postings, answering guest questions, and maintaining knowledge of hotel activities. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of hotel audit experience, plus strong customer service, numeracy, and computer/data-entry skills; bilingual skills are a plus. The position is based in New York, NY and is Full-Time with on-site (in-person) duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or related experience and/or training
- Minimum one year hotel audit experience
- Basic typing skills with computer data entry experience
- Basic reading, spelling, and math skills
- Ability to converse clearly and comfortably with many different types of people
- Ability to learn a variety of information about the company’s lodging and recreational facilities
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
