Job Summary
Night Auditor balances hotel charges and expenses nightly, audits room revenue, food and beverage revenue, cashier reports, guest and house accounts, and online reservations; processes payments, posts charges, and transmits daily management reports and credit card batches; serves as night-time hotel system/operations and emergency liaison, runs reports, and balances accounts at shift end; answers guest inquiries, handles routine problems, maintains knowledge of hotel activities, and assists with maintenance and inventory of Front Office equipment; supports safety, attendance, and service standards as described in the role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or related experience
- Minimum of one year of hotel audit experience
- Basic typing skills with computer data entry experience
- Basic reading, spelling, and math skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with diverse people
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Bilingual skills a plus
