Job Summary
Greet arriving guests, answer telephone calls courteously, and respond to inquiries regarding hotel services, guest registration, local shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions. Generate, confirm, cancel, and change guest reservations while keeping records of room availability and guest accounts. Assist arriving and departing guests with luggage, compute bills, receive payments, and make change. Promote current hotel and franchise marketing programs and perform additional duties such as laundry as required. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. This role is part of the IHG family, where we are dedicated to creating moments that matter for our guests.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Good math and computer skills
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be physically able to carry out duties, which includes walking and standing to a significant degree, reaching, handling, lifting, talking, hearing, and seeing
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or carry/transport objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to communicate, read and write in English
