Job Summary
Cut fresh produce to size and variety specifications, manage product rotation, and control shrink while adhering to health code and safety policies. Utilize the Produce Production Sheet, maintain merchandising standards, and deliver excellent customer service by gaining product knowledge. Work in a fast-paced environment under wet or humid conditions, lifting up to 75 pounds regularly. Requires Food Handler's Certification and basic math skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in volume production of culinary cold foods, preferably in Fruits & Vegetables
- Food Handler's Certification as required by State Law
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication), fractions and weights
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to adjust focus
- Ability to distinguish colors
- Peripheral vision
