Job Summary
Provide direct patient care within the NICU scope of practice, leading and supporting patient and family education while guiding nursing staff activities. Account for the care and outcomes of assigned patients by communicating condition changes to physicians, including hemodynamic data and diagnostic results. Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Requires a current and valid state RN license with at least one year of staff RN experience in an acute care hospital, with critical care specifically required.
