Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, operate advanced life-support equipment, and administer complex medications in a high-acuity ICU environment. Perform hemodynamic monitoring, interpret arterial lines and central venous pressure data, and ensure patient safety while adhering to strict infection control protocols. Accurately document all assessments and interventions, provide education to families, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care outcomes. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures through ongoing training and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. One year of recent ICU experience and CCRN certification required.
Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
