Job Summary
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, administer complex medications, and operate advanced life-support equipment in a high-acuity ICU environment. Perform and interpret hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines and central venous pressure, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, document assessments and interventions, and provide education to patients and families. Adhere to strict infection control protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Requires one year of recent ICU experience, CCRN certification, and valid RN license. This 13-week travel assignment in Worcester, Massachusetts offers highly competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and reimbursement for licensure and CEUs.
Required Qualifications
- Travel ICU RN
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Must be able to move about
- Must be able to move equipment (50-100lbs)
- Must be able to push
- Must be able to pull
- Must be able to bend
- Must have the ability to grasp
- Must have the ability to perform fine manipulation
- Must have the ability to push/pull
- Must have the ability to move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers
- Must be able to meet deadlines under pressure
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must possess visual acuity
- Must be able to effectively communicate
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
