Job Summary
Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician's orders in the NICU. Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource person for respiratory care for physicians and nursing. Execute duties as assigned using appropriate respiratory care devices while meeting state licensure requirements and holding a current RCP license. Maintain the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Work nights with physical demands including pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs. Join a caring, collaborative team where your voice matters.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program
- Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required
- Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs
- Pinch up to 10 lbs
- Kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally
