Job Summary

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans for neonatal patients while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Monitor patient conditions, respond independently to emergencies, and advocate for families in a Level IV NICU environment. Deliver evidence-based care, perform rapid clinical decision-making, and provide individualized education based on developmental and cultural needs. Document patient status and interventions accurately while supporting continuous learning among peers. Serve as a clinical resource and role model within a collaborative, high-acuity setting.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of a state-approved professional nursing program
  • Must be eligible to take the Board of Nursing examination
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider certification required, or completion within the probationary period
