Job Summary

Conduct direct patient care activities for neonatal patients through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in a Level IV NICU environment. Utilize the nursing process to develop comprehensive care plans, perform ongoing assessments, and monitor patient conditions while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Respond independently to emergency situations, evaluate rapidly changing conditions, and accurately document patient status and interventions. Provide individualized education to patients and families based on developmental needs and serve as a clinical resource for peers.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of a state-approved professional nursing program
  • Must be eligible to take the Board of Nursing examination
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider certification required, or completion within the probationary period
