Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans for neonatal patients in a Level IV NICU environment. Perform ongoing assessments, monitor conditions, and respond independently to emergencies while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Deliver evidence-based nursing care, advocate for patients and families, and provide individualized education based on developmental needs. Evaluate rapidly changing conditions to make sound clinical decisions and accurately document patient status and interventions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a state-approved professional nursing program
- Must be eligible to take the Board of Nursing examination
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider certification required, or completion within the probationary period
- Must be able to push, pull, and grip up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to pinch up to 15 pounds
