NICU Nurse

Conduct neonatal care for patients with diagnoses including respiratory distress, prematurity, hypoglycemia, apnea, bradycardia, sepsis, temperature instability, and hyperbilirubinemia. Utilize the nursing process to assess, treat, and coordinate individual patient care while promoting customer service initiatives. Demonstrate technical skills and procedures appropriate to the age of patients served. Provide education to patients and family members regarding health conditions and offer emotional support. Maintain licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing, current BLS certification, and NRP certification within 90 days of hire. Requires one year of RN experience with NICU experience preferred. Work at TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a 740+ bed comprehensive facility affiliated with TriStar Health, serving pediatric and neonatal populations.
