Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill neonatal patients within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Perform advanced medical procedures and lead neonatal resuscitation efforts to stabilize infants. Provide clear communication to families regarding treatment plans while ensuring all care aligns with established mission and quality standards. Requires Master's degree, active RN and APN licenses, board certification, and BLS/ACLS certification. Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing as Nurse Practitioner
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado
- Active Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license in good standing with the Colorado Board of Nursing
- Board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, in applicable population foci and/or sub-specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
- Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with associated articulated plan
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience in a clinical or advanced practice setting
