Job Summary
NICET Fire Alarm Field Engineer sought to support national retail programs. Responsible for field inspections, system validation, and quality reviews of fire alarm installations; troubleshoot EST/EST4 systems; collaborate with project teams, technicians, customers, and contractors to resolve technical challenges; ensure installations meet customer expectations, code requirements, and Wachter quality standards; provide technical guidance and recommendations for continuous improvement; travel within an assigned region to support national account locations. Remote position with regional travel.
Required Qualifications
- NICET Fire Alarm Certification preferred
- Hands-on fire alarm installation, service, commissioning, or inspection experience
- Strong knowledge of EST / EST4 systems (preferred)
- Ability to diagnose issues and provide solutions in the field
- Excellent communication skills with customers and internal teams
- Self-driven professional who enjoys ownership and problem-solving
- Ability to travel regionally as needed
