Job Summary
Actimize Technical Support Engineer responsibilities include reviewing and investigating client issues, understanding configurations in Java/JavaScript/SQL/XML to provide accurate guidance, installing/configuring/customizing solutions per manuals, reproducing environment data for issue investigation, documenting customer interactions in CRM per SLA, and collaborating with higher tiers for end-to-end resolution. Requires 2+ years in technical support and a Bachelor's degree in CS (or equivalent); hands-on experience with Java, Windows Forms, SQL, XML, and scripting; strong English communication; familiarity with Linux and enterprise software integration. Everyday tasks include assisting customers via phone/email/chat and maintaining records of interactions while contributing to peer reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent)
- At least 2 years in technical support facing customers and resolving issues
- 2 years of experience with application development using Object oriented, JAVA, Windows Forms, SQL
- Knowledge with XML, HTML, PERL
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Fast learner with ability to educate themselves on relevant technologies
- Integration experience with desktop enterprise software applications
- Knowledge with Linux, Microsoft Server
