Job Summary
Conduct advanced practice nursing for adult gastroenterology patients, managing GI conditions and procedures under the supervision of attending physicians. Perform clinical rotations in gastroenterology, internal medicine, or related specialties to support patient care. Maintain current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Illinois, hold an active DEA license, and complete Basic Life Support/CPR certification. This role is open to new graduates with a strong interest in GI or those with preferred experience in the field.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a master's level advanced practice nurse program
- Current license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois, either the Adult (APRN-ANP), Adult/Gerontology Acute Care (AGACNP), or the Adult/Gerontology Primary Care (AGPCNP) specialty
- Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by a national certifying body as approved by the Illinois Department of Regulation APRN Board
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
- Hospital Only: Basic Life Support/CPR Certification
