Job Summary
Production Associate performs manufacturing operations including assembling products, receiving/stocking materials, data entry into PLC/ERP systems, cycle counting, material handling, and packing. Responsibilities include operating RF devices, using various lifting equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, walk-behind lifts, stand-up lifts), reading BOM/production documents, editing/releasing work orders into ERP, maintaining a clean 5S workspace, and handling hazardous waste materials as needed. Requires ability to operate scanners/computers, perform setups, and communicate material availability to ensure production continuity. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50–75 lbs as needed; physical requirements and PPE safety training apply.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year technical degree in manufacturing is a plus
- Prior experience preferred but not required
- Ability to operate RF devices and material-moving equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, walk-behind lifts, stand-up lifts)
- Basic math skills and knowledge of metric and US measurement systems
- Attention to detail and basic computer skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50-75 lbs frequently
