Job Summary
As a participant in the Greenfield Talent Program at Nevada Gold Mines, you will engage in comprehensive training, including safety education and hands-on operations experience. Responsibilities include working closely with various departments to ensure compliance and functionality of plant operations, enhancing production and processes, and proposing improvements. A Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or a related field is required, along with strong communication and leadership skills. Candidates should demonstrate safety commitment and teamwork capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent Process related degree
- Excellent safety record with ability to demonstrate safety leadership
- Team leadership skills
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work outside in varied weather conditions
- Ability to cross-train within the process and metallurgical group
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in multiple software applications
Additional Requirements
- Zero (0) to One (1) years’ experience in metallurgy or processing preferred
