Job Summary
Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers to explore and present product solutions for digital and print products. Create and implement strategic territory and business plans while driving new business to foster growth within the territory. Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and historical data. Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences, group presentations, and industry functions. Meet or exceed annual sales goals. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with a preference for education sales in the publishing industry. Must be able to lift 50 lbs unaided to transport materials to customer locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching, and education sales preferably in the publishing industry
- Proven record of consistent sales growth and goal achievement performance
- Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills
- Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions
- Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain effective working relationship with current and prospective customers, internal business partners, colleagues, and management
- Documented territory management and organizational skills
- Strong competency in the use of business technologies, multiple applications, CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to transport materials to customer locations
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs unaided
