Job Summary
Coach teen leaders through regular check-ins and values-based mentorship while designing a strategy to engage congregations, youth professionals, and teens across the region. Build relationships with synagogue stakeholders and partner with organizations like BBYO and JSU to expand regional engagement. Host monthly conversations with the Regional Action Network and connect local teens to North American fellowships and events. Plan and attend three in-person gatherings: Fall Kallah (October 2026), Winter Kallah (February 2027), and Spring Kallah (April–May 2027). Meet bi-weekly with your supervisor for strategic reflection and attend monthly team meetings. This part-time role supports teen-led Reform Jewish life in Central Canada, joining a national team elevating youth leadership across North America.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with teens in a mentorship, organizing, educational, or leadership development setting (Jewish or secular)
- Willingness and ability to travel within the region and attend three in-person gatherings: Fall Kallah: October 16-18, 2026, Winter Kallah: February 5-7, 2027, Spring Kallah: April 30- May 2, 2027
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Reform Judaism and the Reform Jewish community a plus
