Job Summary
Officiate youth NFL FLAG games in accordance with league rules, safety protocols, and the prescribed format while managing game time, flow, and schedules. Identify rule violations, communicate penalties clearly to players, coaches, and spectators, and maintain neutrality by de-escalating disputes. Conduct pre-game field and equipment inspections to ensure safe playing conditions and complete required post-game reporting and documentation. Promote a positive, welcoming environment emphasizing learning, fun, and respect for all participants. Seasonal assignments across Indiana (multiple locations) with weekly pay starting at $30/game; 1099 independent contractor status. Training provided on rules, mechanics, and game-day expectations.
Required Qualifications
- In tip-top shape
- Cool, calm, and collected
- Knowledgeable of the rules and referee signals
- Strong people skills
- Officiate assigned games to RCX Sports standards
- Submit timely post-game reports as required
- Arrive on time and represent RCX Sports professionally at all assigned locations
- Indiana (multiple league locations; assignments may vary by week/site - submit your location availability in the application)
- You may be scheduled at various locations within a 25-mile radius of the primary area where you apply (based on league needs and your availability) and locations can change week to week
