Job Summary
Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development, prayer, and fellowship while actively engaging in contact work, club leadership, and camping strategy. Recruit, train, and supervise new leaders to build a robust community, and manage finances, donor care, and strategic planning to fuel ministry growth. Maintain accurate records for kids, leaders, and donors while adhering to all Young Life policies and religious standards. Collaborate with area leadership on regional training and develop a yearly personal growth plan. Serve on summer camp assignments and network with key community adults including pastors and parents.
Required Qualifications
- Profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord
- Subscribe to the statements and policies required of all Young Life staff, including the Young Life Statement of Faith
- Be ready, willing and able to fulfill such ministry functions as may be required by the organization
- Refrain from conduct and statements that detract from the biblical standards taught and supported by Young Life
- Abide by all policies and practices of Young Life including, without limitation, those related to religious belief or ministry activities
- Proven relational skills with both kids and adults
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
