Job Summary
Next Generation Leader for Young Life Boston in Dorchester. Part-time (20 hours/week) role focused on urban youth ministry with a strong emphasis on gospel-centered discipleship. Responsibilities include spiritual development (prayer, growth in God’s Word, personal growth plans), leadership development (recruiting/training volunteers, building leadership teams, modeling effective ministry), resource development (fundraising and donor communications), and direct ministry (planning and conducting clubs, Campaigners, and camping strategies). Lead a team to plan and execute ministry activities, recruit partners in the community (principals, pastors, parents, volunteers), and provide relational, confidential support to young people and leaders. Training is provided through area and regional programs; education note: college degree preferred. Experience in teamwork, ministry planning, and effective communication is essential.
