Job Summary
Entry-level Newspaper Delivery Worker responsible for preparing and delivering assigned routes overnight (1am/2am shifts) and performing related driving tasks. Duties include delivering newspapers, verifying deliveries, possibly delivering replacement copies, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and adhering to safety procedures. Requires a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, appropriate driving record and insurance, ability to lift heavy items, ability to work weekends and early morning hours, and capability to operate in a warehouse environment. Demonstrates customer-focused service, time-management, and professional communication. Second/third shift experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must have and maintain access to a reliable vehicle
- Valid driver’s license in state of residence
- Driving record in adherence with PCF guidelines
- Automobile insurance at limits required by PCF
- Ability to meet and/or exceed customer service objectives
- Ability to communicate information professionally and effectively
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent
- No previous experience required (third shift a plus)
