Job Summary
Edit video for assigned shows and reporter packages; use editorial and visual judgment; tune in incoming feeds from satellites and ENG sources; create and add special effects to stories; meet broadcast deadlines; working knowledge of nonlinear editing and newsroom computer systems; familiarity with Edius and Bit Central a plus; strong news judgment; candidates with strong writing, producing and photography skills encouraged to apply; weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years experience as a video editor in a television news department is recommended
