Required Qualifications
- High energy, passionate approach
- Journalistic writing skills
- Simple digital video and editing skills
- Anchoring on-air newscasts
- Understanding that accurate reporting and speed to market is critical
- Ability to be mobile to cover news on the scene and in the field
- Existing cell phone service and recent edition smartphone
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check
- Proof of insurance (if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle)
Desired Qualifications
- 2 or more years experience covering breaking news
- Experience producing original news stories for media using audio and digital assets
- Ability to produce content on multi-media platforms including web and social media sites
