Job Summary
WBMA/WJSU/WCFT is seeking a creative News Producer responsible for the day-to-day production of newscasts. In this role, the producer will determine the content and flow of newscasts, collaborate with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk, and Anchors on content generation. The ideal candidate will have solid news judgment and must be a compelling writer, able to multitask and manage time effectively while working in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with flexibility and on-the-spot problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with Avid for non-linear editing and familiarity with newsroom systems such as iNews is required.

- Previous news producing experience at a commercial TV station
