Job Summary
Produce daily newscasts by determining content and flow, collaborating with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk, and Anchors to generate and write stories for broadcast and the website. Execute news strategies and goals while managing time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment to assemble informative programs. Demonstrate solid news judgment, strong leadership, and on-the-spot problem-solving skills using newsroom systems like iNews or Saga. Requires at least some commercial TV news producing experience; a journalism degree is preferred. Full-time role at Sinclair, Inc., offering competitive hourly pay between $29.71 and $35.51 with comprehensive benefits including retirement, health, and paid time off.
