Job Summary
Produce the day-to-day content and flow for the AM newscast, generating and writing stories while collaborating with the AM Executive Producer, Directors, and Anchors. Develop content for the website and execute news strategies within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Manage time to assemble an informative broadcast, utilizing proficiency with newsroom systems like iNews. This role requires solid news judgment, strong leadership skills, and the ability to solve problems on the spot. Entry-level candidates with commercial TV experience may be considered, though a journalism degree is preferred. Full-time positions are eligible for benefits including health, dental, and vision plans, retirement, and flexible spending accounts.

- Flexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities
- Proficient with newsroom systems, such as iNews
- Must have at least some previous news producing experience at a commercial TV station
- A journalism degree
