Job Summary
Cover day-to-day general, in-depth features, and investigative assignments by shooting full high definition on media cards and editing on desktops and laptops. Edit and shoot general assignment stories, live shots, and natural sound packages while utilizing strong non-linear editing skills. Operate ENG news vehicles with a valid driver's license and good driving record, lifting and carrying between 25 and 50 pounds regularly. Produce compelling stories under tight deadlines as a team player with excellent people skills and a passion for storytelling.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of shooting experience
- Technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment
- ENG experience with a network affiliate news organization
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to operate ENG news vehicles
- Ability to edit and shoot general assignment stories
- Ability to edit and shoot live shots
- Ability to edit and shoot natural sound packages
- Ability to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis
- A passion for storytelling
