Job Summary
Lead and oversee daily news operations for WHDH's station, directing a team of photographers, editors, technicians and directing staff. Manage in a fast-paced breaking news environment, organize and oversee 12+ hours of news each weekday, handle last-minute changes and equipment issues under pressure, mentor and develop staff, and collaborate with the News Director and other newsroom and station management to ensure smooth operations. The role emphasizes leadership, multitasking, communication, staff development, and operational continuity in a 100% on-site Boston environment.
Required Qualifications
