News Analyst to cover Oil and Gas and Power and Utilities sectors; provide content to clients from identifying information and research to writing concise, actionable comments; collaborate with the analytical team; publish time-sensitive summaries and in-depth observations ahead of North American market open; strong written communication and interest in financial markets required; 1-2 years market-focused experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; role requires early start time for sector coverage.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a market-focused role (analyst, trader, PM, equity/currency/bond sales, economist, etc.) or demonstrated working knowledge of US equity markets
- Demonstrated understanding of equities and/or stock markets, acquired through professional or academic experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
