Job Summary
Provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assistance with activities of daily living including dressing, eating, bathing, and toileting. Transport clients to and from appointments and activities while carrying out specific tasks from their Care Plan. Collaborate with the Home Helpers team and client families to create compassionate solutions for unique needs. Maintain a professional appearance, follow service plans within time periods, and pass drug screens and background checks. Hold a valid driver's license with a clean record, current auto insurance, a smartphone, and email. Be at least 18 years old, punctual, self-motivated, and willing to take a TB test.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a passion for caring for those in need
- At least 18 years of age
- Have compassion for our clients, including seniors and/or those with disabilities
- Must be a good communicator
- Must be able to follow and complete a list of tasks within a given time period
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Must be self-motivated and have a professional, pleasant, positive, and helpful disposition
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Hold a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record
- Have a smart phone and email account
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Willing to take a TB test
Desired Qualifications
- Caregiving experience is preferred, but not required
