Job Summary
Instruct four-year-olds based on individual needs and program requirements while following all licensing guidelines, company standards, and grant program mandates. Accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, then effectively communicate with families. Implement curriculum to create fun, interactive learning experiences both indoors and outdoors, engaging in physical activity with the class. Complete extensive training covering child care, preschool, and development topics. Maintain a Monday-Friday schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Six hours of college credit in Early Childhood Education or Related field
- Experience in a licensed childcare center or related field
- The ability to meet state requirements for education and our center requirements
- Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
- Monday-Friday work week
