Job Summary
Support store operations by acting as Manager-on-Duty, providing direction to team members, and ensuring departments remain properly merchandised and compliant with standards. Maintain a sales floor presence to greet customers, assist with textbook and merchandise purchases, and process cash, credit, or financial aid transactions. Oversee daily tasks including tagging, shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products while utilizing analytical skills to manage workload and make operational decisions. This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a pay range of $19.00 - $23.75/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing and accounting skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in a retail setting as a manager or buyer
- Graduate of the Best Seller Program
- High school diploma/GED
- Outstanding customer service skills to match customers to products that meet their needs
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills
