Job Summary
Identify and reach out to prospective clinical partners to introduce the New York Abortion Access Hub's referral network services, assessing their interest and capacity while documenting their clinical abortion and navigation processes. Conduct in-person visits to new, current, and prospective partners, and meet with them every 2-3 months to coordinate clinical protocols and share feedback from Hub navigators. Participate in virtual meetings to communicate local, state, or federal updates, assist with distributing marketing materials to increase visibility, and help prepare presentations for internal and external audiences. Collaborate with the NYC Health Department to plan and implement in-person convenings for partners and establish relationships with key local organizations and educational institutions across New York State.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in provider or community engagement activities related to the duties described above
- An associate's degree from an accredited college and four years of experience in provider or community engagement activities related to the duties described above
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
- You must live in the New York tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) to be considered for a position at FPHNY
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to reproductive rights and justice preferred
- Knowledge of community-based, local stakeholders in New York State outside of New York City preferred
