Job Summary
Lead the launch of Sports Direct's fifth store in Dandenong by driving sales, hitting KPIs, and establishing store culture from day one. Coach and develop an in-store leadership team through training, goal setting, and performance monitoring to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly targets are met. Manage wage control, rostering, visual merchandising, stock levels, and shrink prevention while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment. This role requires 2+ years of big box retail management experience with strong commercial acumen in sales and stock metrics. Tuesday–Saturday rostering supports work-life balance, and the team receives a 40% discount across Accent Group brands including Hype DC and Skechers.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Store Management experience in a fast-paced big box retail environment
- Strong commercial acumen – you know your sales figures, wage % and stock metrics
- Passion for people development and a proven record of team success
- A high attention to detail
- Operationally savvy with experience in rostering, visual merchandising, and loss prevention
