Job Summary
Lead the launch of Sports Direct's new Dandenong store by driving sales, hitting KPIs, and overseeing daily operations alongside the Store Manager. Coach and develop your team through training, goal setting, and performance monitoring to ensure high standards in visual merchandising, stock management, and shrink prevention. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly store, team, and individual performance to celebrate wins and close gaps while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment. Requires 1+ years of Assistant Management experience in fast-paced retail with strong commercial acumen and rostering skills. Sunday to Thursday roster with a 40% team discount across Accent Group brands.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of Assistant Management experience in a fast-paced big box retail environment
- Strong commercial acumen – you know your sales figures, wage % and stock metrics
- Passion for people development and a proven record of team success
- A high attention to detail
- Operationally savvy with experience in rostering, visual merchandising, and loss prevention
