Job Summary
Deliver efficient, friendly service at the checkout lane by greeting guests, completing transactions accurately, and handling money responsibly. Troubleshoot basic point-of-sale issues with scanners, printers, pin pads, and registers, then partner with Service Coordinators to resolve system problems or escalate when needed. Answer customer questions and resolve concerns quickly while maintaining positive body language and eye contact to build trust. This role blends customer service with hands-on technical support for the new Meijer store opening in Fishers, IN in 2026.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfort learning and using register systems and related technology
- Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to troubleshoot and assist
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
- Friendly, outgoing attitude with a desire to help others
