Job Summary
Continuously checks for print and seam quality, removes defective material, and splices roll web back together using a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch. Handles rolls and palletizes them to prevent damage, while recording and entering data on designated paperwork and the company operation system. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned, with a willingness to learn and operate a forklift when needed. Must understand basic printing and seam related defects, perform mathematical operations for label counts, and meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversions
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to use simple Windows-based applications
- Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
