Job Summary
New to Specialty RN program in the ICU: mentors experienced RNs into a specialty clinical role within the Intensive Care Unit. Primarily responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care to a patient or group, directing clinical activities, coordinating care plans with clients and families, and supervising nursing and ancillary staff. Requires current CA RN license, ACLS and BLS, as well as knowledge of CA Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards; Bachelor's degree preferred; 1 year RN experience preferred. Location: Escondido, CA; Day shift; 12-hour shifts. Palomar Health emphasizes mentoring into specialty practice and adherence to professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current CA RN License
- ACLS
- BLS - Healthcare Provider
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Ability to read/write English at required level
