Job Summary
Promote and sell service agreements for commercial building systems products (fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, and inspections); establish contact with prospects, qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls, follow up leads, and implement outlined marketing strategies; develop ongoing customer relationships, determine needs, develop a sales strategy to gain understanding of service offerings, and close sales to meet plans; maintain an active proposal backlog to support the designed sales plan; conduct building surveys to support estimates; maintain records of sales activities and submit required reports; generate leads for service or equipment upgrades and collaborate with the service department to drive further opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Required Degree or equivalent work experience (5 years).
- 5 years minimum B2B track record of sales experience.
- Experience selling a service or intangible or technical product.
- Experience prospecting, qualifying, solution selling and closing deals.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment with minimal direction where performance will be measured by meeting quota numbers.
- Professional communication, interpersonal, and time leadership skills.
- Proficient in the use of personal computers to include operating systems such as Windows and Oracle systems.
- Ability & willingness to work as a teammate; must work well with others.
