New Product Planning Manager

Job Summary
Lead strategic and commercial assessments for pipeline assets to inform franchise strategy and optimize labeling decisions. Evaluate pipeline disease areas and market needs while driving competitive intelligence to support strategic choices. Collaborate with Global and Area Commercial teams to align asset strategies and share target disease information with Business Units. Improve New Product Planning infrastructure by refining assessment tools, databases, and forecasting processes to ensure consistency and decision usefulness. Communicate complex analyses to senior leadership and proactively escalate key issues. Fluency in English and TOEIC 900 required, with 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or related roles, including experience in product or portfolio strategy across multiple products
- Capability to plan, design, and lead market research initiatives to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making
- Strong ability to analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize insights, and develop structured business cases
- Proven experience in formulating and evaluating strategic options, scenarios, and value drivers
- Strategic and business-oriented mindset
- Ability to think from an enterprise-wide and long-term value creation perspective
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic ambition with practical execution considerations
- Ability to clearly and logically communicate complex analyses and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Confidence in influencing decision-making through structured storytelling, data-driven arguments, and clear implications
- Ability to provide timely, concise, and relevant updates, and to proactively escalate key issues and decision points to the Head of New Product Planning as appropriate
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
- High level of ownership, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving attitude
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking), with confidence in presenting and discussing strategic topics in English
- TOEIC score 900 or equivalent proficiency
- Advanced PC skills (PowerPoint for executive presentations, Excel for analysis and modeling, Word)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, economics, science, engineering, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or adjacent industries
- Exposure to new product planning, portfolio strategy, business development, business intelligence or another relevant function
- BSc and a higher degree in science field or MBA
