New Product Introduction Sourcing Specialist

Job Summary
Lead RFQs, quote analysis, and supplier negotiations to source components for new product programs while managing material readiness from prototypes through production launch. Identify and qualify new suppliers, resolve shortages and quality issues, and coordinate PPAP orders and engineering approvals to ensure on-time delivery. Evaluate pricing, tooling, and logistics to maintain accurate costed BOMs and identify cost-reduction opportunities through alternate sourcing and volume leverage. Assess supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans for high-risk components while representing the team in program reviews and launch activities. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or four years of relevant experience required. Travel up to 10% as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field
- four years of relevant experience in a supply chain role within a comparable environment
- Proven experience with engineering change processes
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional project management abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively
- Demonstrated ability to manage shifting deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system
- Understanding of inventory management principles
- Background in the new product development cycle
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as required
