Job Summary
New Product Introduction Project Manager responsible for leading complex NPI programs in a regulated healthcare environment. You will own project scope, plans, budget, resources, risks, and cross-functional execution across the full product development lifecycle, including concept to commercialization. You will ensure design controls compliant with 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971; establish governance and transparent status updates; manage stakeholder communications; and deliver executive-level program updates. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, timely decision-making with mitigation plans, and collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and global partners. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant PM experience in medical devices or regulated healthcare, hands-on MS Project/Smartsheet proficiency, and familiarity with phase-gate processes and design controls. Work location is Hybrid in San Antonio, TX, with up to 10% travel domestically/internationally. Compensation ranges from $143,200 to $196,900 annually, with potential relocation assistance and eligible benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree AND 5+ years of applied program, project management, and/or leadership experience in medical device industry or other highly regulated healthcare industry
- Three (3) years experience leading motivate cross-functional teams, and driving projects to completion on time and within budget, while satisfying quality and performance requirements
- Three (3) Years of demonstrated experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and executing phase-gate / gate review processes
- Two (2) Years hands-on experience with project planning tools, including MS Project and/or Smartsheet
