Job Summary
Own the definition of the product cycle and provide prediction/analysis of product attributes at the whole system/platform level. Gather, manage and disseminate requirements from/to internal and external customers; provide data to sub-systems for design and development; define and manage system and product interfaces; offer insight into product/aircraft interaction and real-world operation; manage relationships with internal and external customers. Includes experience with whole-system design, 1D thermodynamic simulation, empirical modelling, understanding of certification requirements and physical testing; proficiency in simulation/modelling tools (e.g., NPSS) and programming (C++, MATLAB, FORTRAN, Python) as part of engineering modelling and design.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics with 1+ years of experience; OR Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics; OR PhD in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship
- Good understanding of product cycle definition, system-level design, simulation and verification of engines/power systems
