Job Summary
Lead a team of 4-5 data engineers to build reusable data artifacts (notebooks, validation pipelines, data specifications, IaC modules) and own the backlog, technical standards, and architecture decisions for scalable data products across revenue cycle, care gap optimization, and quality registry workflows. Drive development of reusable data provisioning modules and agentic LLM call pipelines within data workflows; own data spec documentation and ensure artifacts deploy cleanly into customer environments. Collaborate with Client Integration Directors to enable smooth partner deployments, and develop team members technically and professionally to foster a high-output engineering culture. This role is primarily remote with occasional in-person travel for team on-sites, leadership meetings, or partner discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 8+ years in data engineering, with 3+ years in a technical leadership role
- Deep Databricks/Spark expertise at the architecture level — performance tuning, cluster management, Delta Lake design patterns
- Experience building reusable data frameworks, tooling, or platforms
- Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain strong engineers
